The Lindsay Kids of Steel Triathlon

Dear Potential Corporate Supporter,

Lindsay Kids of Steel is a triathlon racing event for children and youths up to 19 years of age. This sport encompasses swimming, biking and running. Lindsay has been the location of many Kids of Steel races over the past few years. Interest in this sport has surged in the last decade and we are in great need of sponsors and volunteers.

Lindsay Kids of Steel is one of the Ontario’s premier triathlon events and we need your support to carry on this tradition. We are looking for corporate sponsors and volunteers to help out in many different areas of this year’s race. We will be hosting the Lindsay Kids of Steel at the Lindsay Recreation Complex on Sunday, June 22. 2008. The Kids and I thank you for your support in previous years and we are counting on your involvement this year.

As in the past, our many expenses for the race include the pool and the community room rental, police on site, food and a t-shirt for every athlete. The pool has been rented and the City has given us permission for road closures. We need over 100 volunteers to make this a safe and enjoyable event for the kids.

Sponsorship

This year, we have three levels of sponsorship Platinum, Gold and Silver

1. Platinum consists of a donation of $300 in cash, check or product/service of equal value. For this, you will receive your business logo on our website as well as on our Kids of Steel t-shirts that each participant will receive. You will receive a Kids of Steel t-shirt and a framed Thank You plaque from the Kids of Steel, If you have a company banner, it will be displayed around the race course and if you have a booth, you can set it up at our finish line to promote your business or product. You can also provide us with any coupons, advertising or giveaways that can be put in the kids’ race packages
2. Gold consists of a $200 donation in cash, check or product/service of equal value. For this, you will receive your name on the back of the Kids of Steel t-shirts that is given to every participant. If you have a company banner, it will be displayed around the race course.
3. Silver You can provide any promotional items for the kids’ race packages. We appreciate any donation possible or prizes for our volunteers and also for the prize table for the athletes.
